The name Logan carries ancient roots. In Irish heritage, the surname means “descended from a warrior,” and while it is the last name of the main practitioner and founder Charles Logan, it carries much more meaning than that.
In the Celtic and Druidic traditions, logan stones were large, perfectly balanced boulders — massive, immovable to all appearances, yet responsive to the lightest touch of one who knew how to reach them. The Druids viewed these stones as sacred sites, living proof that the Earth itself breathes, speaks, and responds. They were places where the veil between worlds grew thin, where the phsyical and the spritual grew more together, where seekers came to listen, and where warriors came to be tested.
There’s that word again: Warrior. But what does it mean to be a warrior? A warrior, in the truest sense, is not one who conquers others — but one who has the courage to conquer themselves. To face the darkness within and choose the light. To stand firm in who they are, while remaining open to transformation.
That is the spirit that we embrace here.
